1. In a single sentence, what does your job entail?
It’s my job to make sure all college students really feel secure, welcomed, and included once they come to highschool in order that they will study to their fullest potential.

Upon commencement, I joined Inside Metropolis Educating Corps, a Chicago-based volunteer program. It was modeled after the Jesuit Volunteer Corps however was completely for academics. I spent two summers as part of the Mexico Immersion Program with Kim McElaney, and that’s once I knew I needed to be a trainer.

I used to be a Spiritual Research main with an emphasis on Liberation Theology. The Jesuit mission of residing one’s life within the service of others was a through-line in my research. The notion that our liberation is instantly tied to those that are most marginalized is validated by the gospel tales of Jesus within the New Testomony. I needed to begin my educating profession the place I used to be most wanted.
